Driven by a desire to educate the world in understanding diversity, transgender YouTube star Alex Bertie has been making his voice heard online since 2010, and has racked up over 150,000 subscribers in the process.

Born in Dorset, 20 year old Bertie is the UK’s most prominent transgender YouTuber and his videos have been watched over five million times. Last year he took part in Summer in the City, an event held in the capital for the YouTube community and this year he pledged his support for the Terrence Higgins Trust as it launched National HIV Testing Week, using his popular channel to highlight its importance. With comedian and presenter Stephen Fry also backing the campaign, Bertie is certainly in good company.
